Getting set up
- Open Safari (iPad) or Chrome (Android tablet).
- Go to the KirkRegister website and sign in.
- Add KirkRegister to your Home Screen for quick access (see below).
Add to Home Screen (iPad)
- Open KirkRegister in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (square with arrow).
- Tap Add to Home Screen.
- Give it a name such as "KirkRegister" and tap Add.
- You can now open KirkRegister like an app from your Home Screen.
Touch-friendly tips
Buttons and links in KirkRegister are sized for touch — tap firmly and wait a moment for the page to respond.
Use landscape orientation when viewing tables or wide screens such as donation lists.
Pinch to zoom if text appears small, though the default size is designed to be readable.
Tip: If a dropdown or search list does not respond, try tapping outside it first, then tap again.
Entering donations on a tablet
The Giving screen works well on a tablet for recording Sunday collections. Use the quick entry form to add demo donations such as £20 from "Jane Demo" to the General Fund.
Keeping your session secure
Do not leave your tablet unlocked on the KirkRegister screen in a public area. Sign out when you have finished, especially on a shared device.
